Who We Are

We are an Independent Baptist family serving in Novi Sad, Serbia since 2022, holding to the historic faith and practice of Bible-believing Baptists. Raised in north Missouri, our training at Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City—and the influence of Southwest Baptist Church under Pastor Jason Gaddis—shaped our convictions about discipleship, biblical authority, and ministry.

We are locally sent and operated under Lighthouse Baptist Church of Edmond, Oklahoma, with Pastor Russ Bishop overseeing and supporting our work. Our ministry in Serbia is personal, relational, and rooted in Scripture. We spend our time teaching the Bible in homes, discipling new believers, counseling families, traveling to meet with individuals and small groups, and creating resources to help people understand God’s Word.

Our desire is simple:

to live out our faith as a family, to teach the Scriptures clearly, and to help people come to know Christ personally—one soul, one family, and one home at a time.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to teach the Bible, share the true gospel, which results in people becoming born again and then baptized. This process culminates in assembling as a church and continuing discipleship. We believe that the Bible—originating from God through Israel and spreading to Europe, Germany, the UK, and America—is essential for living a purposeful life today and for eternity with the Creator.

1. Bible-Based Teaching

We teach the Bible based on what it actually says—not according to the traditions of any teacher, institution, or denomination.

2. One God Belief

We believe in one God who created all things. We reject all systems that claim multiple gods or lower gods.

3. Unchanging Principles

While God’s dealings with mankind may differ across eras (law vs. grace), God Himself does not change. We hold to Scripture rather than following shifting cultural or man-made trends.

Who We Are Not

We are not Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Buddhists, Brahmans, or any group that believes in more than one God.
We reject ecumenical movements, New Age ideas, modernistic theology, and “free thought” that abandons biblical authority.
We are not Muslims or any religion that reduces Jesus to a mere man or prophet.

We believe Jesus is the “I AM,” Creator, and eternal Word of God who became Man.
